Last night I went to see another metal gig in Bogota. This time it was Gorgoroth black metal from Norway and it was amazing!!! Although there were some strange organisational issues again. The doors were supposed to open at 4pm but didn't until 8pm and then you had to take your shoes off to get into the venue, imagine the sight of many a metaller carrying their boots as they were checked by the security I had to give up one of my two belts(that I own)because of the belt buckle and then they only sold coke and water at the bar inside!! Not on!! Apart from that the crowd went wild when Gogoroth came on and it was a bloody good night!
Yes ladies and gentlemen I went to Lima, Peru last Wednesday for a 3 day IB training course and had a much better time there than last time. No vomiting and no unexpected surprises(Well Saff wasn't with me). The course was good and got a shiny certificate at the end of it. I can now teach IB so another string to my teaching arsenal. Lima is a cool city and I would recommend it especially Miraflores which is where I stayed. But it was overcast and cold, apparently its like that for 6 months of the year. However, I did manage to see the Pacific Ocean which is pretty cool!!!
Oh yeah forgot to say that in the second week of being in Colombia we went to a place called Paipa 3 hours north of Bogota. The hotel we stayed in had thermal baths and a incredible view. Enjoy!
I decided to go and check out the ramps near my apartment today while Saff was at the gym. I met some really friendly local skaters and found some amazing metal grafiti. The ramps are so hard to skate the mini ramp goes to vert and is 7ft high!!
