Argentina, what a place!

Over the Easter holidays we travelled to Argentina, we started in Buenos Aires after a delayed flight from Bogota then after 3 days of sight seeing in the capital we flew down to El Calafate via Ushuaia. While in El Calafate we went to Parque Nacional Los Glacieres and saw glaciers and icebergs, absolutely amazing!
We then flew back to Buenos Aires and did even more exploring and after 3 more days we took a 17 hour bus journey to Puerto Iguazu where we saw Iguazu Falls in lush subtropical forest!
To finish off we flew back to Buenos Aires and booked ourselves into a Tango show, which was incredible!
An amazing holiday and once in lifetime experience, if you pick one country in South America to visit make sure you go to Argentina!
Enjoy the pics, Saff and Tim xxx

Have a look at the map to see how far we went!

Tango Street Band

Walking around San Telmo on a Sunday you can get hold of antiques and watch this band perform in the street, they are called Ciudad Baigon and we even bought their cd!

La Boca Boys Drumming!

On Saturday afternoon in La Boca you can see and hear all sorts of music and dancing here's just one example!

Argentina...Buenos Aires!

During our holiday in Argentina we visited Buenos Aires 3 times and stayed in the area called Retiro, we also went to La Boca (the pics of the painted houses) Palermo, San Telmo (where the tango band were) Recoleta (the pics of the tombs) Puerto Madero and the Microcenter. All these different areas had a very different feel and make Buenos Aires an incredible city. Enjoy the pictures and make sure your next holiday destination is here!
