Dia de la Raza or national stereotype day!

On friday 3rd October, our school (CGB) held its annual celebration of all the different cultures and traditions in the country.
Our school does this by putting on a great big party, where you have to dress up in the traditional dress of your country (you can already see the problems the british lot had!) and perform a short piece of either traditinal dance or sport or sing a traditional song etc.
The reason for all of this is, that this day is to celebrate the day that Christopher Colombus first set foot on Colombian soil, this is the whole reason behind the party.

Here are some pictures from the day, naturally, the brazillians and other more interesting nations made the british lot look really very dull!

Enjoy

Saff and Tim.
