This Sunday, Tim and Saff decided that they wouldn't waste the fact they woke up at 6.45 am (we have no curtains in the bedroom still).
So up we got and went on the Sunday Cyclovia.
Every Sunday, Bogota shuts parts of its major road systems between 7am and 2pm so that families can get out and cycle/bike/walk/roller skate/jog along these roads!
You gotta love it, at first you think its a crazy idea cause of all the traffic there is normally, but this actually works.
We went out very early so there was hardly anyone around. We cycled a good 5 miles up the road
to Parque 93, a really nice part of town where we waited for a nice restaurant to open and have some tasty breakfast, then we cycled back again!
