Volcano of Mud!

While we were in Cartagena we took a bus up the coast to Volcan del Totumo where you can bath in a mud volcano and then bath in a lagoon nearby. Legend has it that the devil lived in the volcano and was cast out by the local priest and the volcano turned from lava and ash to mud. It was a bizarre feeling like bathing in liquid chocolate mixed up with a Greek orgy! A definite must for mud bathers!
